Identified and analyzed information systems and went in depth in IS strategies. We then explored the shift from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 and in data management, which modernized marketing. Completed Excel assignments which allowed me to demonstrate my ability to apply Excel software to business problems.
BMGT 350: Marketing Principles and Organization
Introduced the concepts and principles of marketing, which provided an in-depth overview of product development, pricing, promotion, marketing research, consumer behavior, international marketing, distribution and internal marketing to employees. Had hands-on experience in developing marketing strategies as a team for an imaginary restaurant, Zambo's Beans and Rice.
BMGT 484: Digital Marketing
Explored recent digital marketing terms and technology. Worked as a team to develop digital marketing strategies to expand the small business, Lazy Susan Tree Farm. I was also able to learn SEO with ahrefs, paid search with Google Ads, display ad campaign on Facebook, in order to promote the business efficiently.
